A Gift…From Me to You

Tomorrow I will celebrate my 58th birthday. My gift to you is an invitation to embrace Jesus. If you’ve never clearly understood the gospel, please read this post to the end. There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12

It is fundamental that you understand you were designed on purpose. Your life is not a mistake, or an accident. God uniquely designed you, with love, care, and intention.

Psalm 139:13-17

Isaiah 43:4

Ephesians 2:10

It’s important to understand that sin separates you from God. All the human race is corporately guilty because of the sin nature that was passed down to all mankind through Adam and Eve’s disobedience.  Each one of us is individually guilty because of our own sin. Romans 3:23

Romans 3:10-12

We live in a broken world where the enemy of God, satan, comes to kill, steal, and destroy. John 10:10

The Gospel explained

The good news is that God had a plan to make us new again, give us new life, even when we were dead in our sins. Ephesians 2:4-9

Because of God’s great love for you, for me, and for all mankind, God became a man. Jesus, God’s Son, expressed his immeasurable love for us by walking among the people He came to save. John 1:14

Jesus was fully obedient to God the Father and was without sin. John 6:38

2 Corinthians 5:21

Jesus suffered a criminal’s death on a cross, taking our sins upon himself. His sacrifice made a way for us to be reconciled to a Holy God.

Hebrews 10:10

1 Peter 2:24

Philippians 2:8

After three days in the grave, Jesus rose from the dead. He is alive and offers us hope! Because the penalty for our sin was paid by Christ’s death on the cross, we are no longer under a curse. Jesus promises us eternal life with Him when we turn from our sin, confess that Jesus is Lord, and believe that God raised Him from the dead. Romans 10:9-10

This is the good news that I embraced as a young girl five decades ago, and this is the gospel that changed my life forever.

I experience victory in this lifetime and I have the promise of eternity with Christ in the life to come.

You too can have the hope of eternal life when you make the choice to surrender your life to Jesus.

How God can change your life forever

Maybe you’re still wondering…What must I do to be saved? The Bible clearly shows us the way.

“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” Acts 16:31

Receive in faith the gift of salvation God offers. Ephesians 2:8-9

Believe in Jesus, and you will not perish. John 3:16

Trust Jesus. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. John 14:6

A warning, a birthday gift, and a promise

I would be remiss if I didn’t warn you that the life of a Christ follower is not always an easy road. You will suffer. You will make sacrifices. Jesus himself said that “if any of you wants to be my follower, you must turn from your selfish ways, take up your cross and follow me.” Mark 8:34

But I would also be negligent if I failed to implore you to surrender your life now to Christ while you still have life and breath.

My birthday gift to you is this: There is a God who loves you. He’s waiting for you to place your faith in Him and come back home.

1969 was the year that changed my life. Let 2020 be the year your life is changed forever.

I promise you… there is no better life than a life poured out loving and serving God!
